Well I have not beaten the 10 min mark yet but got just under 11 on my second try. So....

On my first time through I found that the worst mistake was to get your troops strung out. So, no rushing ahead. Move with the spawned allies and if more than a couple of the party dies wait for them to res and catch up.

Also, rangers are very nice as the enemy tends to ball up

At the beacon, pull off to the side and wait for a spawn to appear and move away then attack the champions and beacon from the side instead of a frontal assault. Once one beacon is down the other is very fast as a direct assault.

I did notice that, in spite of what the quest says, you do not have to kill all the champions. I had one left and got the victory. I suspect if you just kill the beacons you win.

So, next time through I'm going to check and see if there is a route to get to the beacon without having to fight my way there.

My main is a Rt, i took 3 Ranger heroes and spammed there special skill, also took a warrior, ranger mes and monk hench managed to do it just over 10mins on my second go, first try i only took heroes :S im not really sure on the paths but i tried to dodge the mobs and went straight for the bosses, waited til a group spawned and ran then moved in, i think they spawn every 30 seconds or so, died once on each side, after a few more attempts i think il get it down to the 10 mins bonus

If you can coordinate a team, designate someone to lead and just go right past the first two 'towers' and head to the beeacon part. When you're there, kill one of the towers after a spawn goes by then back up. Next kill the beacon after another spawn goes by.

After that, go to the line up of 5 generals and lure two. Kill them then sneak by to the next beacon. Rinse and repeat the previous step with the second beacon and you should be done by about 7 minutes. Also, make sure you place a snowfort before you agro the generals.

I've h/hed it in normal mode, killed all the commanders and did it under 10 minutes. My character was a Rit, with a paragon hero, a ranger and a mesmer hero I think. Henchmen included a monk, a necro, a warrior and a mesmer. Disable Skill 3 (Snow Down the Shirt) on all your heroes, and set them to Fight. Proceed slowly and take out all the mobs on your way to the beacon of choice (I did balthazar first). The commanders and generals are very dangerous, so if you see them you should focus on them when possible. The commanders seem to have a smaller attack radius, so you can safely barrage them with snowballs without fear of retaliation. After all the commanders and the beacon is gone from one side, backtrack and cut through the middle path to repeat the process for the other side.

HM groups at ToA are doing it under 4 minutes already. It's just running and staying out of the new patrol spawn aggro bubble at the beacons.

Someone used a Conset and you used candy corn and golden egg...

The only thing that works is the Essence and the 1 HP regen from Armor.

Congrats on 2 minutes?
